Valley isn’t going anywhere. We’re just…
After working together and building a strategic partnership over 20 years, Valley Companies and Dayton Freight are announcing a transaction that will move Valley Cartage, the asset-based division of Valley Companies, under the Dayton umbrella.
Valley Companies will continue to operate as an asset-light logistics company, providing best-in-class service to our customers on all of their logistics needs. In recent years, Valley Companies has diversified into Logistics, including nationwide Truckload and LTL, Final Mile Deliveries, and Warehousing. This divestment of the asset-based operations will strategically allow Valley Companies to focus on these areas.
Valley Companies isn’t going away, and we’re not getting out of LTL. We’re simply Shifting Gears. This move will help us solidify our focus as we look to the future.
Valley will also be expanding its physical footprint into Kansas City through a new warehouse property, servicing customers’ strategic needs, and making final mile deliveries in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
These exciting changes are shaping the future of Valley Companies, providing a strategic path forward to continue to grow with our customers and their needs on a national scale.
In addition to this announcement, we would like to outline how our relationship will function going forward:
- You should continue to use the Valley TMS to route all of your LTL shipments as you have been. All freight previously routed through Valley’s physical asset network will now be routed through our stable of reliable partner carriers, including Dayton. These shipments will be priced at new and exclusive rates for you, effective 3/14/2022.
- For Full Truckload moves, continue to reach out to your Valley representative or National@VC1935.com.
- Valley Companies will remain as your logistics solutions provider, continuing to give the service and value you have come to expect from us.
We look forward to continuing to serve all of your transportation and logistics needs! If you have any questions, please reach out to:
