Todd leads the Valley team in key strategic decisions that enhance business practices. Todd has been with Valley Companies for over 30 years, officially joining VC in 1999 and starting his current role as CEO & Visionary in 2012. Todd attended Normandale Community College, where he studied business. Leveraging his past experiences, Todd plays the role as Valley’s visionary overseeing decisions and bringing new ideas to light for implementation. When thinking of logistics, the first thing that comes to Todd’s mind is creating value and providing solutions. Core values have the utmost importance at Valley, and Todd considers laughter, God, and tears as his top 3. When not in the office, Todd spends his spare time with his wife and 3 boys. When asked to give his 20-year-old self advice, Todd would tell himself to grind every single day.
Brett Miller
Brett MillerExecutive Vice President
Brett Miller is Valley’s Executive Vice President. Brett brings almost 10 years of logistics to the Valley team, and five of those years have been spent at Valley. Brett obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and he brings an abundance of knowledge to the table. Brett’s role at Valley is to support and positions Valley’s sales, operations, and shared service teams to succeed at a high level through investments in people, technology processes and partnerships. He holds a high responsibility in keeping the organization focused on long term goals. At Valley, core values hold a strong importance and Brett considers trust, accountability, and patience to be his top three. When Brett isn’t in the Valley office, he is spending time with his wife and two kids! Back in the day Brett was kind of a big deal and made his television debut on the Today show in 1991.
Jason Mansur
Jason MansurVice President of Enterprise Partnerships
Jason Mansur joined Valley Companies in November 2023 as our Vice President of Enterprise Partnerships. He brings nearly 20 years of experience to his leadership role, including being a former President and Owner of a 3PL himself. With his bachelor’s degree in operations and supply chain management from the University of St. Thomas, he can bring forward new ideas to help shape the future of our organization by creating enhanced relationships. Core values are fundamental at Valley, and Jason considers integrity, accountability, and excellence his top three. When Jason isn’t on the road with Valley, he is spending time with his wife and two kids, and he also enjoys running (so much so that he qualified for the Olympic trials in the Marathon event)!
Josh Yatch
Josh YatchVice President of Sales
Josh Yatch came to Valley Companies in December 2019 as our Vice President of Sales. With over 20 years of experience, he plays a crucial role on our leadership team. He takes on the challenge and joy of connecting people, businesses, and problems to our unique logistics solutions, supported by his bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business. Core values are something Valley focuses on often, and Josh considers dependability, adaptability, and selfless leadership as his top three. When he thinks about logistics, the first thing that comes to his mind is there is never a shortage of problems to fix. Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. While he was growing up, Josh played a lot of soccer, and he was selected to play soccer with kids from around the U.S. in the Netherlands at the age of 15!
Dan Knudtson
Dan KnudtsonVice President of Operations
Serving as our Vice President of Operations in our Kansas City Office, Dan Knudtson comes to Valley Companies with 20 years of experience in the logistics industry. His role at Valley revolves around creating an environment for success and identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities. He works hard to develop our staff to ensure high competence and efficiency. Dan received his bachelor’s degree in aviation from Kansas State University. At Valley, core values are fundamental, and Dan considers continuous improvement, family, and being creative as his top three. When he isn’t in the office, he is spending time with his wife and two kids; if Dan could speak to his 20-year-old self, he’d tell himself to invest in yourself, take chances, and enjoy the ride. At Valley Companies, we love to honor those who served in the military, especially when one of them is our own – Dan previously served 13 years in the United States military! Jennifer Jenkins
Jennifer JenkinsVice President of Finance
Jennifer Jenkins has been with Valley Companies for four years and brings a plethora of knowledge to our team; as Valley’s Vice President of Finance, Jennifer collaborates and enables Sales and Operations to deliver superior logistics solutions to our customers. When she thinks of logistics, the first thought that comes to her mind is that it is “complex,” and Jennifer plays an integral role in helping coordinate logistics solutions with our partners and customers. Jennifer graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and while core values are fundamental at Valley, Jennifer considers the mottos of never settle, stay true, and be you, and our Valley FACTS as her top three. When she isn’t in the office, Jennifer spends time with her husband and two kids; as we know, Jennifer has many unique skills, including working as a farm hand helping vaccinate cattle once a year.
Ashley Briles
Ashley Briles Executive Assistant
Ashley Briles brings almost ten years of administrative and logistics experience as the Executive Assistant at Valley Companies. She works closely with our president and CEO while supporting the leadership team and is critical in behind-the-scenes support to all within the Valley organization. Ashley graduated from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in International Studies; she brings many different skills and experiences to the Valley Team, including the year she spent in Singapore working on an expat assignment. Our core values are a fundamental component here at Valley, and Ashley considers loyalty, dependability, and support her top three. When she isn’t problem-solving for Valley, she spends time with her husband and two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Reggie and Henry.

Wilbur joined Valley Companies in 2019 as Chief Something or Other Officer. He brings enormous experience to his role and is a one-of-a-kind in the logistics industry, no doubt about it. Wilbur is the “F” in our core values –FACTS– because he’s all about bringing the “fun.” Need a dad joke? Wilbur is here for you. Looking for a cheesy pun? Find Wilbur. With a Master’s degree in the school of life, Wilbur is constantly dropping knowledge that we all can use, whether we know it or not. In his spare time, Wilbur dreams of being a real person, likes long walks on the shores of the St. Croix, and rides his custom cartoon, Harley.
